Mutter Panner Tikka Masala

Mutter Panner Tikka Masala ! Sounds different or vague, right? As you all might have heard of the recipes as "Mutter Paneer" or "Paneer Tikka Masala".  This recipe has its origin from the two known recipes (Mutter Paneer" and "Paneer Tikka Masala), and it is remixed by my friends.  so I want to share this following recipe for Mutter Paneer Tikka Masala :

Ingredients
  • Paneer- 500 gms
  • Green Peas (Mutter) – 2 cups
  • Curd - 1 cup
  • Lemon Juice-1 tbsp
  • Red chili powder -2 tsp
  • Tomato Puree-3 cups
  • Chopped Onion- 1 cup
  • Jeera -1 tsp
  • Coriander Powder-1 tsp
  • Garam Masala-1 tsp
  • Turmeric-1/2 tsp
  • Water-1/2 cup
  • Light Cream-1/3 cup
  • Kasoori methi (dried fenugreek)-1 tbsp
  • Oil-1 tbsp
  • Salt-to taste
Instructions
  1. Cut the paneer into square cubes and keep them in the boiled water for 7-8 minutes.
  2.  Boil the green peas in water for 5 minutes.
  3.  In a pan heat oil and add jeera, chopped onion, ginger and garlic and saute for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Add the tomato puree and all the spices, and salt. Cook on medium for about 5-6 minutes.
  5. Add the water and continue to cook for few more minutes.
  6. Add the curd and kasoori methi.
  7. Remove the paneer and mutter (green peas) from boiled water and add it into the gravy and simmer for about 8-10 minutes until well incorporated.
  8. Garnish it with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with Naan or Rice!
